BeamShape Announces Exclusive Global Distributorship of EOD Software

BeamShape, a developer of advanced electron beam systems, is proud to announce its new partnership with Prof. Bohumila Lencová and Dr. Jakub Zlámal to become the exclusive global distributor and official support partner for EOD (Electron Optical Design) software.
For years, EOD has been the industry-standard physics engine for charged particle optics. Based on the highly accurate first-order Finite Element Method (FEM), EOD is relied upon by top research institutes and commercial manufacturers worldwide to design complex electron microscopes, lithography columns, and X-ray sources.
With this new partnership, BeamShape is bridging the gap between computational physics and physical hardware manufacturing.

Unlike traditional software resellers, BeamShape utilizes EOD daily in its own R&D facility in Brno. The software serves as the core physics engine behind BeamShape’s custom electron sources, magnetic lenses, and its novel Electron Beam Melting (EBM) 3D printers.
